• Gwyn ap Gruffudd, born about 950, father of Pasgen, born about 980, Kingdom of Powys.

Birth and Parents

Gwyn ap Gruffudd was born about 1056 in Cegidfa, Ystradmarchell, Montgomeryshire, Wales and died 1101. ^[1]

Boyer notes that Bartrum's Early Welsh Genealogical Tracts, at ABT 20, shows Gwyn of Cegidfa, who died in 1101, as son of Gruffudd ap Beli ap Selyf ap Brochwel ab Aeddan. ^[2]

Gwyn ap Gruffudd was of Cegidfa, and was born, say, 1160. [Bartrum, NLWJ, 13:13]. ^[2]
